Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend we loaded up the car and made the 30 minute drive to the Old Baker Farm pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins.  I had not been to a pumpkin patch since going on field trips in elementary school.  I must say, it was much more fun than picking up a pumpkin at Whole Foods in the checkout line!  Charlotte is so fortunate to have so much family in town ... she had seven people chasing her all over the farm!  All of her grandparents and Aunt Leah came with us.

Loving the pumpkins!

Posted this one for shock value for the out-of-Alabama readers
Riding the John Deere tractor next to the corn fields

Charlotte LOVES steering wheels

In front of the hay bale maze
Getting ready to look at some farm animals
Assuming her favorite position ... this child has good knees!
"Whoa!" (one of her favorite words)

Charlotte loved petting the bunny

Riding the swing
Obsessed with this EZ-GO vehicle while waiting in line for the hay ride to the pumpkin patch
On the hay ride (well okay, we kind of cheated and went on the one with benches and no hay ... but same idea!)

Finger in the mouth ... this has been a new problem since Gatlinburg.  Made our professional pictures at the Botanical Gardens quite a challenge a couple of weeks ago

With all of her grandparents and Aunt Leah
In the cotton fields
This was a first
Charlotte was not so sure about the cotton bounce ... I think she lasted for 60 seconds

We will definitely be back next year!
